Rick is on a roll having his Rubberhorn CD on itunes, Amazon.com and thanks to CD Baby
in retail stores soon. Rubberhorn covers a full range of musical tastes from hip grooves,
cosmic trumpet licks, to sci-filicious soundtracks and shows Rick's ability to compose,
produce, engineer and perform. "This music will groove, move and soothe ya."

2008 also brings Rick playing trumpet on the new Brian Culbertson's CD Bringing Back
the Funk produced by Maurice White (Earth Wind and Fire). Grand Slam's Opossums & Racoons
track 7 is a tribute to Kush co written with Toby Mayerl, Grand Slam's leader.

He's writing sound tracks for an upcoming documentary film and doing guest spots with
George Clinton and Denvers own U.S. Pipe Band (dubbed denver's best funk band for the
last two years.) He's playing some kool licks on the soon to be released United Sound
Pipe CD. Rick joined U.S. Pipe at the Denver Film Society's annual event which
features live music paired with the classic film PURPLE RAIN. @ Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
They also played three events for the Democratic National Convention in support of Barack Obama.
On Sept. 13th U. S. Pipe will be headlining at Herman's Hideaway and The Flash Mob will be lighting
up the stage with Benjamin Taylor (James Taylor and Carly Simon’s son). On Halloween this year
Rick Gardner will be featured at U. S. Pipe's annual Funk Ball and CD release party.

Rick's newest venture is with master percussionist, composer and world traveler Ido Ziv.
This will be an amazing trip with many special guests to be enjoyed by the downtown Denver folks
that come out to see and hear "what's new" with Rick!
